We need a ride - and not just any ride = we need a ride we can install wardrobe racks in to ensure the integrity of our clothes to the end user as we bring them to community. This is our alternative to a store front concept. We are not doing the “if you build it, they will come approach here” because we know that many simply cannot. Transportation is likely a challenge for many of the folks we serve and having a dedicated transit van would allow us to safely and efficiently transport interview attire. This van will be used to host mobile pop-up events in underserved communities, reaching more people where they are instead of asking them to come to us. By streamlining pickups, deliveries and outreach, we could serve more clients, respond faster to urgent requests, and maintain the dignity of those we assist.
Ultimately, a transit van is not just transportation—it’s an extension of our mission to provide opportunity, confidence, and hope to those striving for a fresh start.
